Microsoft is responding to the needs of the customer and providing a new licensing structure that allows companies with shift and/or Frontline workers to purchase fewer licenses, while giving them all access to Cloud PCs during their particular shifts. Windows 365 Frontline brings "an easy and affordable way for organizations to extend the power and security of Cloud PCs to shift workers. [Frontline] Cloud PCs provide these employees with access to their personalized Windows apps, settings, and data, helping them save time and increase efficiency, and freeing them to work from anywhere and on any device." Enjoy The Fast-Shifting Journey as a Team
Well, it feels like we hit Mach speed of technology advancements with AI. The CEO of open.ai, the creator of ChatGPT is asking the government to step in and put regulations around AI as he states, “if it goes bad, it is going to be really bad”.
What are we supposed to do with that? Well, we have to stay educated and keep the human factor of common-sense top of mind when adopting these new tools we have. Microsoft’s CEO said it is an accelerator of work, a copilot to work with you not a replacement of workers. Some jobs will be replaced, but we will always need to have the human factor in place.
With all that said, we need to make sure proper technology representation is at all executive and strategy meetings as it absolutely is changing priorities, how we work, who does what, and the overall business strategies. Please do not disregard the above statement. You need someone, or a team, that has their eye on the business future, technology shifts, and can brainstorm on business model options that should be considered.
With all that said, it is a fun and very fast shift we are in, so have fun with the tools we have and work together as a team. Educate each other, share thoughts, and stay aligned on priorities. Always keep the priorities visible and adjust weekly as a team, if needed, because that is where we are today.
