In today's fast-paced work environment, having tools that work for you is essential. Microsoft Teams has introduced a new chat and channels experience designed to help you stay on top of what matters most, stay focused, and organize your digital workspace like never before.

Elevate Your Collaboration Game with These Exciting New Features

• Navigate Between Your Chats and Channels with Less Friction (click here for a video): Stay on top of what's happening in your chats and channels—all in one place, in Chat. You can choose to keep your chats and channels combined or separate, depending on your preference.
• Your Pinned Chats and Channels Are Now in Favorites: You know best which chats and channels should be at the top of your list. Add them to your Favorites for quick access.
• Organize Your Conversations with Custom Sections (click here for a video): We know you often work on multiple projects, each with its own chats and channels. You can now group your chats and channels into sections, so you can quickly find conversations related to a specific project or topic. Simply drag and drop relevant chats and channels into their respective sections.
• Know When Someone Mentions You by Name (click here for a video): With just one click, you can quickly access all your @mentions across chats, channels, and meetings, so important conversations don't slip through the cracks.

You can customize your experience to align with your personal workflow and the way you want to use Teams. Open Settings and select Chats and channels to tailor your experience based on your unique needs. With the new controls, you can choose to view chat and channels separately, see message previews, or display all channels in a single list. You're in control!
